Agent Meetings (AIW Members only)
You may register for two agent meetings (free of charge). Please suggest four agents from the AIW list and we will choose two for you (based on agent availability). See agent list to be posted on the AIW Web site on Tuesday, April 1, 2010, to make your selection. All members who wish to meet with literary agents must sign up with agents before Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
Johns Hopkins University Manuscript Review (AIW Members only)
A member of the JHU Masters of Arts in Writing faculty will read your submission (no more than 20 pages for fiction and nonfiction and 10 pages for poetry) submitted by Friday, April 30, 2010. The reader will schedule a discussion at the conference on Saturday. We are pleased to offer this service exclusively for AIW Members, for only $125. Registration and additional details will be available later this month.
Group Breakfast with Agents
Full buffet breakfast with one literary agent at each table. Only $30 for AIW members and $50 for nonmembers. A list of participating agents will be available as we get closer to the event.
Continental Breakfast
All registered full-conference attendees are invited to enjoy a continental breakfast of fruits and baked goods, coffee and tea, juices, and soft drinks the morning of the event. The breakfast begins at the opening of registration and continues through the morning’s opening remarks.
Awards Luncheon and Keynote Address
Admission to the luncheon and keynote are included with all full conference registrations, as well as a la carte . Lunch includes a selection of boxed lunches of gourmet sandwiches and wraps, as well as a variety of juices and soft drinks. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Please contact the AIW office at 202-775-5150 to report any special dietary needs.
Saturday Evening Reception
After the close of the final conference session, all attendees are invited to join AIW at the Conference Center for a networking reception with hot and cold h’ors d’ouevres, a variety of juices and soft drinks, and a cash bar. Admission to the reception is included in full conference registration and also a la carte. Please contact the AIW office at 202-775-5150 to report any special dietary needs.

Early Registration includes not only the full conference, but also the Continental Breakfast, Awards Luncheon, and admission to the Reception at the end of the event. All registered attendees also have the option to sign up for two (2) one-on-one agent meetings at no extra charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Annual Washington Writers Conference Refund Policy
For conference registrations canceled on or before Monday, May 24, 2010, we will refund your registration, less a $50 processing fee. No part of the fee is refundable for cancellations made on or after Tuesday, May 25, 2010.
