WriterHouse Event: A Tale to Tell: Fantasy Writing for Rising Fifth and Sixth Graders, June 21-25 2010

Calling all friends of mythic heroes, time-travel, shape-shifting, and various magical beasties. Spin words into your own magical story during this weeklong writing workshop with fellow-fans of fantastical worlds. Explore characters, quests, conflicts, and all things wondrous and strange as you create your own short piece of fantasy fiction. Students of this course will capture a world on the page that follows its own rules and invites readers to journey along. Imagination and a willingness to support each other will be necessary tools.
